Database management systems have been around for decades now & Oracle SQL is one of oldest ones. It allows you to store data in the form of tables where each table contains rows & columns. Multiple tables can be related to each other to better arrange records and remove redundancy.

We live in a world of data, data is fundamental to all things & an essential skill is the ability to work with this data. SQL or Structured Query Language provides the ability to a programmer to retrieve this data stored in tables and generate meaningful information from the same.

My book Oracle SQL 101 aims at providing fundamental information about SQL, the basics of the language including creation of tables, rows, columns and data. It also dives into basics of writing SQL queries & various language fundamentals such as JOINS, SUB-QUERIES, SET OPERATIONS, SINGLE ROW FUNCTIONS, AGGREGATE FUNCTIONS and so on.
